Las Vegas Trial Lawyer- Nate E. Swanis
Nate joined Eglet Adams in May 2022 as a summer legal clerk. He returned the following summer and continued to work for the firm throughout his third year of law school. Nate completed his Juris Doctor at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law in May 2024 and passed the summer 2024 Nevada Bar Exam. Shortly afterward, he was promoted to associate attorney. Nate currently practices on the firm’s litigation team, focusing on catastrophic injury matters.
Born and raised in Nevada by two attorneys, Nate was inspired to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in law. He began his law school career at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and transferred back home to Las Vegas after his 1L year to study at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law where he pursued a JD/MBA dual degree.
While attending law school, Nate made the dean’s list, served on the board of the Gaming Law Society, and was an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He is set to graduate with his MBA from UNLV in 2025.
Prior to law school, Nate earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno. While there, Nate worked at a personal injury law firm and the Disability Resource Center, where he helped students with mental disabilities attend and complete classes. Nate also played for the Nevada Club Baseball team from 2019–2021.
Nate is licensed to practice law in Nevada and is a member of the Nevada Justice Association and the Clark County Bar Association. He also volunteers with Three Square Food Bank, helping to fight hunger in Las Vegas.
When not practicing law, Nate enjoys the outdoors and visits Alaska each summer to fish and each winter to ski. He also enjoys traveling, exercising, sports, and spending time with his family.
